FAQ

How is this different from other creams?
Most body creams are water-based, and your skin's barrier is oil-loving, so the actives struggle to get in. This is a silk-dry oil carrying three peptides, caffeine and CoQ10 — the same class of firming actives used in high-end facial skincare, reformulated for the body, where skin thins just as fast. Firmer, smoother-looking skin, with no grease.

How long before I see results?
Most women notice softer, plumper skin within 4 weeks. Visible firming, and less of that crepey, papery appearance, at around 6–8 weeks of daily use. Everyone is different, so give it at least two months.

Will this oil leave my skin greasy?
No. The formula is fast-absorbing and dries down in seconds.

What exactly are peptides and how do they help?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, small enough to get into the skin — unlike collagen, whose molecule is far too large. Once they reach the deeper layers they signal your skin to produce more of its own collagen and elastin. More collagen means firmer skin, and less crepe.

Our formula carries three peptide groups:

  • GHK-Copper — supports skin repair and firmness
  • Matrixyl — signals collagen and elastin production
  • Argireline — helps smooth the skin's surface

Is this product cruelty-free?
Yes. Sève Body products are never tested on animals.

Where on my body can I use it?
Anywhere. Arms, neck, décolletage, chest, stomach, thighs — wherever you see crepey skin, fine lines or a loss of firmness. Plenty of customers simply use it as their all-over body oil.

What Women Are Actually Telling Us

Real feedback. Real change. Most of it within the first few weeks.

A few days in and I could already tell. I use it on the tops of my arms, which is where the crinkled lines show most. I went in sceptical and came out pleasantly surprised — softer, more supple, a bit firmer. Nobody's mistaking it for surgery, but it's a real change. The creams I'd tried did nothing at all.

I bought it for the crepey skin on my arms and legs, and honestly it felt better after a single use. Lovely oil. Someone actually commented on how young my arms looked for my age — that's never happened before. I'm ordering two more bottles and giving it a proper go.

I've collected rather a lot of body oils over the years, so I wasn't expecting much from another one. This one my skin simply drinks up. It feels wonderful afterwards, and there's no film left behind. I can see myself reordering, which I can't say for the rest of the shelf.

Just past the two-week mark. My thighs feel less slack and the loose skin under my arms seems to be tightening up a little. Second bottle ordered this morning.

Jacqui S.

Verified Buyer

I'll admit I didn't expect much. Two weeks later I could see the difference clearly enough to order a second bottle without thinking twice about it.

There's never a bad moment to give your skin five minutes of proper attention. One week in and mine already feels noticeably softer — and, if I'm honest, a little younger too.

Pauline H.

Verified Buyer

My skin has never felt this soft. That's the whole review, really.

Really enjoying this oil, and I'm starting to see proper progress. I'll be buying it again.

Why the creams never worked

If moisturiser could have fixed this, it would have fixed it by now.

Here is the part nobody explains: crepey skin was never about dryness. It is a structure problem — which is why lotions and firming creams keep falling short. What follows is how the Peptide Body Oil works on that structure, what is inside it, and what women are noticing week by week. Read all of it or none of it. Either way, you have 60 days to change your mind.

What's really going on

Crepey skin is thin skin — three things quietly ran out

Firm skin is held up by three materials your body makes on its own. With the years — and much faster after the menopause, after weight loss, or after decades of sun — the builder cells in your skin, the fibroblasts, slow right down and stop replacing them.

Why it seems to happen overnight: in the first five years after the menopause, women can lose as much as 30% of the collagen in their skin. Add sunshine, a sudden drop in weight, or simply time, and thin, papery skin turns up on the arms, neck, chest and hands as if from nowhere.

So the job isn't to disguise crepey skin under a cream. It's to feed the structures that made your skin thick, springy and smooth in the first place — from underneath.

How it works

Peptides don't hand over collagen. They ask your skin to make its own.

Most collagen creams and oils lay collagen on top of the skin — but the molecule is far too big to get through, so it sits on the surface and comes off in the shower. Peptides do the opposite. They're tiny messenger fragments, small enough to get in, and they tell your own fibroblasts to switch collagen and elastin production back on. The formula works on all five drivers of crepey skin at the same time:

01 · Thickness

Rebuilds collagen

Signal peptides (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Tetrapeptide-7) carry the repair message that prompts fresh Type I and III collagen. Copper peptides back that up with repair and density. The thin, see-through look begins to fill back in.

02 · Snap-back

Restores elasticity

Copper Tripeptide-1 helps build and link new elastin, so skin springs back rather than hanging. Alongside it, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 eases the tiny muscle movements that keep creasing the surface. Skin reads as tighter, less slack.

03 · Plumpness

Deep hydration

Rather than simply wetting the surface, the peptides prompt your skin to make its own hyaluronic acid. Glycerin pulls water in and the oil base seals it there. Fine crepe lines fill out and soften.

04 · Nourishment

Boosts circulation

Caffeine, eucalyptus and grapefruit oils support circulation — bringing the fibroblasts the oxygen and nutrients they need to keep turning out collagen and elastin.

05 · Protection

Defends against damage

CoQ10 and Vitamin E neutralise the free-radical damage that quietly pulls collagen and elastin apart — so what you rebuild actually stays, and builds on itself over time.

The result

Not hidden — rebuilt

Thicker skin, stronger elastic tissue, deeper hydration and better circulation, all at once. That's why skin can start to look firmer, smoother and more resilient.

Why an oil, not a cream

Firming creams are mostly water. That's where it falls apart.

The simple version: nearly every firming cream on the shelf is mostly water. The surface of your skin, though, is made of oil — and the two don't mix. So the cream largely stays on top, and the ingredients you paid for never make it in.

An oil behaves differently. Your skin takes it straight in, which carries the peptides down to the deeper layer — the one where collagen and elastin are actually rebuilt.

That, in one line, is why this works where the creams didn't.

What to expect

Your skin, week by week

Every skin is different — it's the consistency that compounds. Once a day, on the areas that bother you.

Week 1

Skin feels different

The oil sinks in properly and your skin feels softer, smoother and better hydrated — with nothing greasy left behind. The daily massage turns into something you look forward to.

Week 2

The texture starts to give

That papery, crinkled feel begins to ease, especially just after a massage. You catch yourself running a hand along your arm, mildly surprised.

Week 4

Smoother, more even

Most women see visibly smoother skin on the arms and hands. It reads as less crinkled in ordinary daylight, not only in the minutes after applying.

Week 8

Visible firming

As the deeper skin rebuilds, it looks firmer and more resilient. The crepiness on arms, chest and hands is less pronounced — and the sleeveless top stops being a decision.

What's inside, and why

Nothing in here is filler

Triple Peptide Complex

Three peptides that signal collagen and elastin production, and ease the surface smooth.

Caffeine

Wakes up circulation to feed the cells doing the rebuilding, and tightens the look of skin short-term.

CoQ10 (Ubiquinone)

Antioxidant cover — it shields collagen and elastin from free-radical breakdown.

Jojoba Oil

Close to the skin's own oil, which is what gives the silk-dry finish — absorbed in seconds, no grease.

Grapeseed Oil

Carries the actives down and reinforces the skin barrier so moisture stays where it's put.

Grapefruit Oil

Bright citrus that supports circulation and firmness — and gives the oil its spa-fresh scent.

Three steps, five minutes

1

Apply

One to two pumps into your hands, or straight onto arms, neck, chest or hands.

2

Massage

Work it in with circular movements until it has fully sunk in. Leave it on — nothing to rinse.

3

Repeat daily

Once a day is enough. It's the repetition that compounds the results, not the quantity.
